Introduction

DRYCON Hungary Ltd. was established in Budapest in March 2010 as a Hungarian-owned family business. The purpose of founding the company was to create a professionally prepared, reliable and flexible team in the field of damage restoration — in particular fire and water damage restoration, as well as asbestos removal — capable of providing Western European-standard services to domestic clients.

From the beginning, our company has been characterized by long-term thinking, personal responsibility and flexible adaptation to the needs of our clients. As a family business, we place particular emphasis on carrying out our work transparently, responsibly and consistently, while in every project we keep professional quality, occupational safety requirements, and compliance with current legal and regulatory obligations at the forefront.
Asbestos removal is one of our key specialist areas, which we carry out in every case with enhanced care, based on a preliminary site survey, risk assessment, appropriate work organization and the careful selection of the applicable technology. Our senior colleagues obtained accredited professional qualifications in Austria and Germany, without which — in Western Europe — asbestos removal activities may not be performed and official authorisation may not be granted. During the demolition, removal, handling and transportation of asbestos-containing materials, we pay special attention to the protection of our employees, persons present within the area affected by the works, the public and the environment. As part of this, we ensure the proper segregation of the work area, the minimisation of dust formation and fibre release, the use of the required personal protective equipment, decontamination procedures, as well as the collection, packaging, labelling and handling of asbestos-containing waste in accordance with the applicable legislation.

We carry out our activities in compliance with the regulations in force at any given time concerning the protection of workers exposed to risks related to asbestos, in particular Decree No. 40/2025 (XII. 19.) of the Ministry for National Economy, Act XCIII of 1993 on Occupational Safety and Health, as well as the environmental protection and waste management rules applicable to the handling, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. During the preparation of asbestos removal works, we prepare a work plan, define the conditions for safe work, the technical and organisational protective measures, and the procedures aimed at protecting employees and persons present in the affected area.

The professional foundation of DRYCON Hungary Ltd. is based on decades of experience gained in the field of damage restoration, continuously developed technical knowledge, and a well-trained domestic workforce. As a Hungarian company employing domestic specialists, our goal is to provide modern, safe and turnkey solutions for affected parties, industrial and institutional clients, and insurance companies, while taking into account international professional guidelines, including, among others, the VdS 2357 fire damage restoration guidelines.
